I’m pleased to say that we’re providing an early Christmas present to housing associations with the latest application in our Uniclass suite of housing software.

ROCC Focus, released today is our new business intelligence and predictive analytics tool aimed at helping housing organisations to mine their huge and constantly growing stores of tenant and property data to enable proactive decision making.

Predictive analytics utilise statistical techniques such as data mining, predictive modelling and machine learning to analyse current and historical information to make predictions about future or otherwise unknown events.

Imagine if you could predict which tenants are likely to struggle with paying their rent, what properties are likely to need maintenance and when, what days and times are most likely to ensure operatives gain access to homes for routine maintenance, what contracts are likely to be less profitable or which materials are likely to run out.

Our predictive analytics essentially enables housing organisations to identify risks and opportunities to their tenants, staff, properties and their businesses.

Our business intelligence and development teams have worked so hard to produce a truly outstanding product and I’m so excited to see it being launched today. The advantages this type of technology provides to housing associations are enormous and Focus really does help them to predict the future and determine what is likely to happen and therefore plan accordingly. Good planning is always more cost effective than reacting to challenges when they occur and so by using Focus housing associations are able to provide better service, keep properties safer and in better condition and minimise disruption to tenants and staff.

We’ll be running some webinars before Christmas so we can demonstrate the power of Focus and I’d urge everyone to keep an eye on their inboxes to look out for invites.
