TAL and Colemont working together

London based Colemont Insurance Brokers Limited has turned to TAL Computer Services, part of the ROCC group, for a complete IT network upgrade and new telephone solution. According to Natalie Footitt at Colemont, “As well as providing thirty new workstations, TAL has enabled our remote and mobile staff to stay in touch with the office through Blackberrys (hand held devices), webmail and access to the network via a VPN (Virtual Private Network).” She continues, “The new Alcatel telephone system allows our team to access voicemail remotely as well as dial by name. The system is VoIP (Voice over IP) and CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) enabled so we can ‘turn on’ these technologies in the future when required”.

Colemont’s business is expanding fast with another twelve workstations to be rolled out over the next few months. TAL is providing a full support service to both the network and telephone solutions. To keep up to date with the latest developments in IT, Colemont and TAL will meet every six months to discuss requirements. Footitt concludes, “The productivity gains are significant, especially for staff whilst working away from the office, and we expect further gains to be made as we continue to expand.”
