ROCC to unveil new thin client mobile solution at CIWM 2008, June 10 – 12, Torbay

At the forthcoming CIWM Annual Conference & Exhibition in Torbay, ROCC will be unveiling its latest thin client mobile solution.

Used by inspectors and kerbside collection crews to capture data, such as, “bin not presented”, “bin contaminated”, abandoned vehicle, fly-tip and related environmental/waste information, the solution removes paper based processes. All data, including digital photographs and the GIS location, is logged against the property or location and can be accessed by all staff.

The solution increases the speed of response to citizen enquiries, enables office staff to have all relevant information at their finger tips, and ensures that the Council can report accurately on operations.
