Streamlining Research Surveys
Sept 27, 2005
The ROCC Consultancy Group (RCG) is pleased
to announce that Loughborough University Business School’s Centre for
Automotive Management (CAM) is to implement an automated
data capture
solution for collection of survey data.
Part of the Professional and Management
Development Centre, CAM provides specialist training and management
development to automotive industry managers and dealers across marques, as
well as leading-edge research within the automotive retail sector.
The Centre plans to use RCG’s automated
data
capture solution in its data collection, including a current research
project: ‘Applying the principles of the Toyota Production System (TPS) to
other areas of the Automotive Industry Supply Chain’. Part of the project
involves processing high numbers of questionnaires from dealership sites
across Europe.
The project involves the implementation and
collection of organisational culture measurement questionnaires each quarter
for 12 months (to assess whether the Toyota Retail Systems initiative is
having an impact on the values and culture of the organisations, and the way
people work together).
RCG’s automated
data capture solution will
speed up the processing of research questionnaires for this and other
projects, improving project turnaround times as well as saving valuable
resources.
RCG is one of the UK's leading consultancies
in Business Process Automation (BPA) and is part of ROCC Computers. ROCC has
been providing IT services, solutions and consultancy for over 30 years.
