Brighton based ROCC gains Investors in People standard

ROCC (www.rocc.com) has gained the Investors in People (IIP) Standard - awarded to organisations that have proven practices for the ongoing development of staff which are linked to the achievement of the goals of the organisation.

Achieving the IIP Standard is one of the key objectives of ROCC’s corporate strategy. People are ROCC’s most valuable asset, and for ROCC to succeed in achieving its business goals everyone has to perform and contribute having the appropriate level of knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently. The Investors in People Standard recognizes that ROCC has established processes which ensures continual business improvement using different means to achieve success through its people.

ROCC Chief Executive, Luke Aldrich, comments: "I am delighted that we have attained the Investors in People Standard. This reflects the hard work staff put in to ensure that our internal processes for the development and management of people meet the required IIP Standard. We've been through a thorough IIP programme since December 2005, which has involved internal reviews and external audits of all our business units as well as members of the Senior Management Team.” Luke Aldrich continues "I place great importance upon the IIP status because it sends an important message to staff that their role is valued and that we are aspiring to continual improvement."

To gain the IIP accreditation ROCC has:

·         Taken effective action to improve the performance of the organisation through its people

·         Demonstrated the impact of its investment in people on the performance of the organisation
